A successful business is built on a vision. If you do not have a vision, you cannot have a business. We will just have a look at what vision is and how it plays a major role in businesses. Vision is the ability to see or the act of seeing; perception of objects by the eye according to the oxford dictionary. In business, the definition of vision differs from how we define it. That is why we would be looking at how vision is perceived in the world of business.Now, in an organization, vision is not seen with the physical eyes as stated before; instead, it is seen with the mind, or sometimes, felt (emotion). For example, the vision of Coca-Cola is to get every human in the world to have a taste of Coca-Cola and get everyone speaking about it, and yes, they truly got everyone talking about it. What about NIKE? They have every athlete wear their shoes, offering them comfort. Now, AMAZON has got the world in its palm, and now you hear amazon everywhere you go, I could mention so many other organizations that have come very far to achieve and see that their vision stand.When there is no drive to push the vision anymore, it comes crumbling down like a pack of cards. That is why we would see some sportsmen, especially those who go in only for fame and money and when they have gotten it, they back off and become lackluster. This shows you that money was their driving force. It is often not the case with those that have a burning passion for the game. There are things we ought to know as humans because we come with a lot of flaws and a tendency to give up. Like I said earlier, passion helps a man’s vision thrive.
