In the corporate life I have witnessed many leaders were who very much successful in their career and contributed lot to their organisation where they have worked. Suddenly it is observed that they are being considered as bad leaders. When something like this happen, our first reaction is denial. Unfortunately, this phase of denial goes quite long, and this duration differ from person to person. I saw them crumbling down in the lack of support to come out of this situation. It has been very painful to see multiple such cases in my career spreading close to three decades.Another problem which prompted me is, seeing organisations failing due to leadership crisis. Organisations face a dilemma of changing leaders, which cost them huge by mean of money and well as opportunity lost. Despite that organisations are not sure of getting right person. It’s not advisable to think of changing leadership as soon as we see crisis of performance.In India leadership coaching is under-utilized, despite being having huge scope. The purpose of writing this book to make readers aware about coaching and more so leadership coaching and its eventual benefits we can take in realizing our potential to reach our vision. I have made efforts to bring out this book so that more and more people in Indian corporate world read it and understand utility of leadership coaching in their individual career or in organisations goal fulfillment.
