Claudia Jo started to grow as a young artist, spreading across nationwide in newspapers and magazines. She later found a strong passion in writing and being that she is a people-person, Claudia began to interview her role models and inspirations. After four years of compiling interviews, Claudia found her own meaning out of them and finally turned them into a book. As a teenager herself, she knows the struggles and the angst that we all go through and understands that when we hit our lowest peaks, it is easy to give it all up.But by creating this book, she wants you to know that you are not alone. Here is her message to all readers:To anyone reading this, I don’t want this book to be just another ordinary book you picked up to read out of boredom. I want this book to be a helping hand - a road map. Whether you’re a teenager or a grown up adult, this book is universal to everyone and every feeling/emotion out there. The people that I interviewed - first one being from four years ago - all have a purpose in life. But finding their purpose was not an easy process. It took years of searching, hard work, and opening up to feel comfortable in their lives. They all come from different places with different careers and inspirations. But where they find common ground is who they are as people. By the end of the day, they’re all the same just coming from different places. We’re all the same. One question I always asked my interviewees: What is your definition of success? This was always the last question and due to its heaviness, there is always that short pause of thought. Sure, they are all considered successful people in society but what makes them successful? What is success to them?As I’ve combined different answers, I came to the conclusion that they all narrow down to the same answer: To find meaning.
